Deeply saddened to learn of the passing of Glen Hansard.
His music was honest, raw, and full of heart. From the early days with The Frames, to The Swell Season, to the unforgettable Once songs like Falling Slowly, When Your Mind’s Made Up, and High Hope spoke of courage, of the strength to keep going, and of never giving up when the road gets hard. Those melodies inspired us. They still do. They remind us to stand tall and move forward, no matter what.
Glen carried Ireland in every note proud, real, and unbroken. From Dublin’s streets to stages around the world, he gave us something that lasts.
This is deeply sad news for all of us at the Colloquium. We extend our sincere condolences to his family, friends, and fans.
